Some really bad news for all the other UK guys here...

To all those hoping to get down to the Jazz Cafe on Oct 31 & Nov 7/8 to see Vinnie play with Robben Ford and Jimmy Haslip, (Jing Chi) the dates are officially cancelled...

Sorry to inform you all that the Jing Chi tour that was being put together for Oct-Nov. 2004 has been cancelled . . . There were serious problems with the bookings and the booking agency
seemingly did not understand how to communicate with our management. This created some difficult situations for us and we were then put in the position of cancelling the dates.

We are now eagerly pursuing a new booking situation for a new tour of Europe in 2005 . . . . . This will hopfully provide a solid tour and we will look forward to visiting you all then !

Needless to say that we are very disappointed in this turn of events and we hope that you can understand our position on this decision. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused to you our fans and to all the local venues and promoters involved and we also hope to see you all sometime early next year!

We thank you for all the continued support and we send you all peace and Harmony . . . . .

Man, feel sorry for you UK guys. On the other side of the hand, i think they gonna book different and maybe run by Scandinavia for a couple of gigs, and then sweep through Germany...etc.

I think the last tour scheduled had huge holes in it, maybe the booking agency were shooting for too high revenues or something like that.

Hope they come back though!

Oh dear, this is now turning into pure bullshit. This is now the SECOND time that they've've cancelled. I booked 2 tickets for the 7th nd 8th of Nov and now the 31st of Oct has now been blown out.
This is now costing a fucking fortune in booking fees. Who's gonna cough up and redeem me? How many more times do I need to book up and see Vinnie before he cancels yet again and takes more of my my hard earned money?! Some fat booking agent must be pissing himself as he gets richer and doesn't actually put the gig on.

Terrible behaviour.
